Rachel Rosa

Rachel is an innovative creator of interactive content and motion graphics that significantly amplify client partner communications – and generate new customer interest.

Diverse Creator

Rachel is fluent in nearly every Adobe design and animation program, has 3D design capability, and brings the strong drawing and illustration skills crucial for creating memorable motion graphics to each client partner.

Art Director

Rachel often manages the schedules, casting, compositions, props, and styling for WORX video shoots so that the rest of the team can focus on the equipment and technical aspects of the filming.

Talented Typographer

Rachel studied typography in college – designing a custom typeface for her senior thesis inspired by 19th century hand-lettering – and considered a career as a font designer. She still utilizes that keen sense in her growing body of award-winning animation work.

Biography

  • As a member of the in-house interactive studio team at WORX, Rachel has led the development of creative systems for videos, 3D worlds, digital marketing ads, and website experiences.
  • Rachel is a six-time Connecticut Art Directors Club (CADC) Award winner, and has contributed to several national award winning videos, websites, and graphics systems.
  • Rachel graduated from the University of Hartford (Hartford, CT), where she earned the Summa Cum Laude distinction, and was a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society.
  • Before enrolling at the University of Hartford, Rachel apprenticed under a tattoo artist for one year.
  • Rachel designed One Hundred Years of Hartt – a published book by Dr. Demaris Hansen recounting the first century of the University of Hartford Hartt School.
  • Outside of WORX, Rachel has designed merchandise for contestants on the hit reality tv show, RuPaul’s Drag Race.
  • Rachel also does significant personal work as an SFX makeup artist. In 2021, she won a highly competitive international makeup competition.
  • Indications of her talent were visible at an early age; at three years old, Rachel won a Big Y coloring contest.
  • A big proponent of technical and trade schools, Rachel attended Oliver Wolcott Technical High School (Torrington, CT) with a focus on graphic design – and graduated in the top ten of her class.
  • While in high school, Rachel was active at The Warner Theatre (Torrington, CT). She performed in four mainstage musicals, and won two awards for her acting.
  • As a teen, Rachel won the art competition of Connecticut State Representative Elizabeth Esty. Her piece was featured at the Mattatuck Museum before going on display in Esty’s office for the following year.
  • As part of her many leisure activities, Rachel enjoys listening to, and attending concerts of, glam rock and hair metal bands.
  • Rachel resides in West Hartford, CT, with a cat named Percy.
