In 2023, Mica and her partner, Al, welcomed baby Lena into the world. Mica wants to inspire her daughter by serving as an example of an empowered female who positively balances personal and professional goals.
Biography
- Mica is able to build web experiences from the conceptual through the coding phases.
- Mica is highly skilled at writing clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS/SCSS, PHP and Javascript best practices.
- Mica contributes to many client partners’ digital platforms by building reliable, responsive experiences that integrate UX/UI best practices and follow WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Mica joined WORX in 2021 after serving as a digital content creator for a law office. Prior to that, Mica spent several years as a Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) Certified violin instructor and ensemble coach.
- Mica studied classical violin for more than two decades and has performed for years.
- Mica is an ambitious learner, continuously bringing forward the latest information on web technologies and best practices.
- Mica graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Minor in Communications from California State University-Sacramento (Sacramento, CA) where she was a member of the Pi Lambda Kappa Music Honor Society, Symphony Orchestra, and Camerata Capistrano.
- Mica enjoys various activities including cooking, quilting, and hand writing letters to her nephews and niece back in her home state of California.
- Mica resides in Newtown, CT, with her partner, Al, and their daughter, Lena.
