In 2023, Marysia was named a Person to Watch by Graphic Design USA magazine – one of the most significant publications in the creative industry.

Marysia co-created the Emerging Leaders young professionals affinity group with the United Way of Greater Waterbury.

Behind the Music
Marysia has designed three album covers for two-time Grammy award-winning singer / songwriter Michael Bolton.
Biography
- Marysia is approaching two decades with WORX – where she oversees brand messaging, design strategy, and creative for several client partners.
- Marysia has designed or directed dozens of national award-winning pieces in print, advertising, direct, brand, and digital marketing.
- Marysia has diverse experiences over her career in marketing communications – having served as creative director and designer on work for PEZ, BiC, ESPN, Iron Mountain, Special Olympics, FedEx, and ASSA ABLOY.
- Walker is active in giving back to the creative and design community – serving as a Board member for AIGA Connecticut.
- Marysia is also heavily involved in the local area through United Way of Greater Waterbury. She is currently a member of their Leavenworth Society, and has led fundraising initiatives including the 2017 revival of the community Bed Races competition.
- Growing up with a love of gymnastics, Walker won a gold medal in the vault at the 1988 National Polish Falcons of America competition.
- Marysia enjoys waterskiing, biking, yoga, boating... “anything active, really”... and designed the first fitness website for Oprah's personal trainer.
- Marysia graduated from Southern Connecticut State University (New Haven, CT) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Art and Specialization in Graphic Design, as well as a Minor in Computer Science.
- Marysia resides in Shelton, CT, with her husband Rich and cats Daisy, Buddy, and Casanova.
