A lifelong New York Mets fan, Joe was at the infamous "Bill Buckner game" of the 1986 World Series versus the Red Sox – Section 14, Row O, Seat 17.

Master Chef
A self-admitted food and wine addict, Joe often cooks up specialty dishes for both agency team members and client partners to enjoy – including his famous paella.
Biography
- Joe has been instrumental in building WORX into an innovative branding, digital, and marketing agency since joining the firm in 1995.
- Gugliotti was the recipient of the 2025 Malcolm Badrige Community Award – the highest honor bestowed by the Waterbury Regional Chamber – for his decades-long business entrepreneurship and community commitment. He is also a past recipient of their Harold Webster Smith Entrepreneur of the Year award, given to a community leader who has grown a significant local business.
- In 2024, Joe was inducted into the Holy Cross High School Hall of Honor as a person who has made "a significant and lasting mark on the school's rich history."
- Joe was awarded the Susan St. James award for leadership from Special Olympics Connecticut, and is a member of the Special Olympics Hall of Fame.
- Joe was also awarded the 2018-2019 Frederic & Lucy Kellogg Award from the United Way of Greater Waterbury, honoring his enduring, philanthropic commitment to United Way and the community.
- Joe served a two-year term as the Chairman of the Board for the United Way of Greater Waterbury, an era which saw the largest fundraising efforts in the organization's 75-year history.
- Gugliotti is the former Chairman of the Board for Special Olympics Connecticut, and a former member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Waterbury YMCA. He also served on the Board of Directors at the Palace Theater in Waterbury.
- Joe currently serves as a founding member of Spectre – a nonprofit organization comprised of business people in the greater Waterbury area who quietly pool resources to help neighbors in need.
- Joe has lent his thoughts on creating and building businesses to the next generation – giving keynote presentations to organizations including the Waterbury Regional Chamber, Post University, and Holy Cross High School.
- Joe currently serves on the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University Advisory Board.
- An avid golfer, Joe is a member of the Country Club of Waterbury and Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club.
- Gugliotti earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University (New Haven, CT).
- Joe resides in Jupiter, FL, with his wife Debra. They have three daughters – Jaime, Julee, and Joeann – and five granddaughters.
