Erika played NCAA Division III college tennis – competing in the #1 Doubles and #2 Singles spots while leading as team co-captain her senior year.

Agency Dog Owner
Erika’s labradoodle, Leo, is considered the official agency dog of WORX – along with Chief Technology Officer Shae Apland’s labradoodle, Rocky.
Biography
- Erika is a natural leader known for mentoring creatives and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Erika spent several years as a designer for American Cruise Lines, where she developed a strong skill set in digital advertising, social media, and print design – with a particular penchant for elevating brand communications.
- Erika graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the State University of New York at Purchase (Purchase, NY). She initially pursued the photography pathway before falling in love with design.
- While at Purchase, Erika led the college’s art magazine, SubMag, as Editor-in-Chief.
- As a member of the Purchase women’s tennis team, Erika earned a Scholar-Athlete award all four years.
- A native of Wallingford, CT, Erika starred on the tennis and soccer teams at Lyman Hall High School.
- Erika has traveled to multiple areas around the United States with Group Mission Trips to provide home renovation assistance after natural disasters.
- During her high school years, Erika also gave back to the community – painting murals at her hometown school and YMCA, including a recreation of Van Gogh’s Starry Night.
- In her free time, Erika loves to get a little Footloose and can be found Boot Scootin’ Boogying at local line-dancing venues.
- During her less active moments, Erika admits to spending time at home scrolling through Pinterest for unique design ideas.
- Erika resides in Berlin, CT, with her husband, John, and dog, Leo.
