A former corporate CFO, Brian can help client partners understand core business aspects like structuring, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic planning.

Brian is the co-owner of WORX and Swingbridge Capital – a financial solutions company that eliminates uncertainties in driving enterprise value for businesses.

A focused and disciplined person who is a big believer of "fire in the belly," Brian is a fourth degree Master Black Belt in karate.

Brian is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting trips throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Biography

  • Brian Klanica has over thirty years of operational and financial management experience in middle market companies.
  • Prior to WORX and Swingbridge Capital, Brian was the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Mossberg Corporation – a leading firearms manufacturer – where he was responsible for complete financial and strategic management.
  • His previous experience includes Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for The Fletcher-Terry Company, a middle market manufacturer of glass cutting tools and professional picture framing equipment.
  • Brian has four years of public accounting experience.
  • Throughout his career, he has structured many creative equity and debt funding arrangements to benefit client partners' long-term stability.
  • Brian co-founded the CJK Foundation – a nonprofit organization built to create positive change and hope for individuals and families experiencing mental health struggles.
  • Brian is also a member of Spectre – a nonprofit organization comprised of business people in the greater Waterbury area who quietly pool resources to help neighbors in need.
  • Klanica graduated from Quinnipiac University (Hamden, CT) with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He worked full-time over the four years to fully finance his education.
  • Brian has two sons and resides in Cheshire, CT. He is a member of The Farms Country Club, also in Cheshire.
