Mutual Bank’s head of marketing reached out to WORX in 2010 because she kept seeing the agency’s award-winning work for Newtown Savings Bank. What impressed her most was “the ability of WORX to position a community bank as well as any national bank – and the attention to detail on every piece.”

Despite Mutual Bank and WORX being in different states, the agency essentially serves as the Bank’s in-house marketing department. Mutual Bank has no internal communications resources – so they rely on team WORX for everything from business strategy to campaign development to media planning. This is made possible by the agency team’s deep understanding of banking, for sure – but also its ability to work with executives, loan officers and service teams alike.

DATA INTEGRATION

WORX has led the integration of Mutual Bank’s BancVue website platform, CRM database, digital marketing content and other applications – which has reduced Bank labor related to customer analysis. The data integration has also surfaced new insights on customer behavior, usage and purchasing patterns, while clarifying share-of-wallet goals.
